Because Cultivating Hope believes that physical health and wholeness are essential for lasting transformation in vulnerable communities, we offer the following programs:
Fully Functioning OB/GYN Medical Clinic
- Assessment by licensed medical provider
- Ultrasound
- Vitamins and Medications as indicated
- Point of care laboratory testing
- Pre and post pregnancy care
- General gynecologic care
Prenatal Education Classes
- Consultation with a licensed medical provider
- Group prenatal care classes
- Emotional and psychosocial support
- Prenatal vitamin distribution
Local Provider Training & Continuing Education
- Hands-on training of local midwives, nurses, and nurse’s aids
- Regular continuing education training
Livelihood
We believe that through restoration of an individual’s value and agency, and in conjunction with development of livelihood skills, pathways for sustainable impact and thriving futures will be created. We offer the following educational programs for vulnerable people in our community:
Nurse’s Aid Training Program
- Three month duration, final examination, program completion certificates
- Level One: Body systems anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology
- Level Two: First aid, wound care, vital assessment, infection control
English as a Second Language Program
Mechanic training Program
- One year training program


Care
While Cultivating Hope is not a relief work organization, we often find ourselves as some of the first responders in crisis due to our proximity to people living in unstable environments. Through our community center we offer:
- Trauma-informed psychosocial groups
- Domestic violence awareness
- Child safety and protection training
- Parenting classes
- Mother’s support groups
